MY KASI MAGAZINE

My Kasi Magazine is a young and fresh online publication that is all about “Telling our own Kasi stories”, and a sub-magazine for My Afrika Magazine.

My Afrika Magazine publication is housed under 263Africa Media, based in Zimbabwe. The journey of storytelling started in 2014 as an online blog and it became fully established as a publication in 2019.

Our target audience is between the ages of 18-65, a niche that combines the youthfulness of Africa and a generation that is tech savvy and understands the value and benefits of the digital space that brings the global village together.

WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO

The editorial mandate of the magazine is to shape a positive narrative of Bulawayo and its people. The main focus is to celebrate our own people, keep the diaspora market connected with home and home with the diaspora by enabling conversations in progressive social, economic and developmental issues. Sharing real stories of real people across the spectrum especially at grassroots level, stories that may never get to or are filtered out by mainstream media.

Celebrate Our Own

We want to celebrate each other, our success stories and developments around the province.

Realize Kasi

Is one big home, we are all connected, we have many resources and we must collectively find the best solutions for developing our community.

Tell Our Own Stories

Our stories are mostly told by outsiders. Not anymore!

Connect Kasi

We follow who’s doing what and connect as a people for the greater good of our home and the global village.
